Round 1 – Match 43
My Case for the Ice Devil
The way that Ice Devils appear in D&D and Pathfinder are the farthest thing I think of when I think of “devils.” Instead of horns, they have antennae, they have bug eyes, and look very much like an insect humanoid. That is one of the reasons why I love them – they are a devil that is so far away from the rest of the devils that they are a unique specimen. Lore-wise they’re just looking for a promotion, goshdarnit! The Ancient Green Dragon is gifted power while the Ice Devil works for it. For that reason, the Ice Devil deserves to win.
My Case for the Ancient Green Dragon
Of the chromatic dragons in role-playing games, green dragons have a special place in my heart. They are the most manipulative and charismatic of the dragons. They use this charisma to control others through fear, power, or blackmail. They are a perfect villain that lives in the heart of forests and can have birds and other animals acting as spies for them. For their power and cunning, the Ancient Green Dragon deserves your vote.
With a vote of 2 to 1, the Ancient Green Dragon takes the vote!
